Weekend Report 6
From August 8 to August 12

This week gave another kind of experience in my teaching journey. The school was preparing for the independence day celebration. Teacher's and students were busy in practising and preparing the independence day celebration.
On the first day of this week, that is on August 8, there was school assembly.
 This was SPC day. So the assembly was conducted by SPC cadets. All the students from up level and High school level assembled on the school ground. We too joined the assembly. There were posters created by SPC cadets. 
Prayer was by school choir. Pledge and news was the attractive point of the day. 
After the assembly students went to respective classes and the regular periods went onn...due to medical illeness I can't attend the assembly meeting.
On the second day of this week, that is on August 9, there was no class for students. So we need not to go to school.
On the third day of this week, that is on August 10, I have to take physics class for the fifth period of the day. As the onam exam was coming teachers were busy in completing their portions befor the dead line. We won't get any substitution periods for the last two days. We were given different duties in guiding students who are practicing the independence day programme. Teachers were guiding the students in practising the dance, song ,speech and other various activities. That was a lesson for us in conducting a programme. 
On the fourth day of this week, that is on August 11, there was an awareness programme conducted by the Ashraya Abhaya Kendra in regard of the ' lahari vimuktha campaign '. Many boys and girls performed dances and a drama was conducted by them.
The programme was inaugurated by the ward member Sandhya. The gave a beautiful inaugural address to students. The drama has given a great message to the students. The drama was directed by Madhu k Krishnan. 
Finally there was a pledge given by the Ashraya state coordinator Sri Simon sir. Students, teachers and us joined the pledge.
There was chemistry class for the third period. I won't get any substitution period for this day. 

On the fifth day of this week, that is on August 12, there was practice session by the students in regard of the independence day celebration. Today our arts teacher came for the observation classes. Students were so cooperative and they responded actively in the class. The NCC,SPC and JRC cadets have many duties in school before the independence day celebration. They were doing different types of activities in the school. Parade practice was another session of the day. The NCC coordinator James sir distributed flags to students. As part of Asadi ka Amruth Maholsav, students are asked to rise flag on their house on 13 th August to 15 th August. We too were asked to that. Promoting patriotism was the main message behind this.

This week has given a different experience for my teaching practice journey. The participation of students and their involvement in the session was really wordless for me. That was a great lesson for me....

School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 8 From August 22 to August 26 This was the last week of the school internship phase 2. It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot of things from the school. Firstly I would thank my college teachers for giving me such a school. GVHSS KULAKKADA gave a lot of experience in my teaching practice life. Innovative work last sem

Innovative work I planned a drama for the chemistry class as my innovative work. The concept I selected for the drama was ' ionic bond ' from the chapter ' Chemical bonding '. I clearly prepared the script and as per the script I selected some students from the class 9 C for the characters of the script. The students coperated well. They thoroughly studied the script and sometimes they clarified their doubt. There were 6 characters for the drama. Everyone performed very well. Each has their own role to do. I prepared some aids for the drama performance. They used it properly and carefully. The other students of the class kept quiet during the entire drama programme. School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 7 From August 15 to August 20 This week gave another kind of experience in my teaching practice life. Learning new things from students and teachers from day to life serves a great lesson. From these days I learned how to improve my teaching skills effectively. I have learned how to use the teaching aids properly and all... On the first day of this week, that is on August 15, the school celebrates the 75 th independence day. There was variety of programs on the school.  The national tricolour flag was hosted by the head mistress of the school. The flag hosting was followed by independence rally. All the students participated in the rally. Students from various classes dressed in various styles and forms and performed beautifull in the rally.
