School internship phase 2

Weekend Report 8

From August 22 to August 26

This was the last week of the school internship phase 2. It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot of things from the school. Firstly I would thank my college teachers for giving me such a school. GVHSS KULAKKADA gave a lot of experience in my teaching practice life.

On the first day of this week, that is on August 22, there was class on the school. Teachers were busy in taking of the pending portions. We were Given duties for taking revisions for various classes. I have physics class to take and students were active. I too got substitution periods for the same class. There was a programme on the school regarding the merit day. Students were honoured during the meeting. The last year students were given cash prizes and awards for their results. Students together with the parents arrived at the school auditorium on time. NCC and SPC students were given duties to guide the students on the Meeting.

On the second day of this week, that is on August 23 , there was regular classes till noon. I have to take physics class for nineth standard students. After the noon students were given study leave. So there was no regular class from the noon. Students were emotional at the last day. They gave a wonderful feedback regarding my class. I took project tool using the students of nineth standard.  We gave sweets to teachers and students as part of their contribution to our teaching practice life. Students too gave gifts to us. It was an emotional moment. I took selfie with them. The love they gave to us was un explaining.

On the third day of this week, that is on August 24, there was exam for the students. It was the first exam for all the students after the COVID pandemic situation. Students of eighth standard won't know how to deal with the exam. So the teachers were given instructions to gave proper instructions for such students in dealing with the exams. Students wrote the exam properly and carefully. They followed all the instructions we given. We too were given exam duties.

On the fourth day of this week, that is on August 25, there was exam for students. we were given exam duties. Two teachers were appointed on the same class to gave instructions. We gave instructions to students regarding the exams. They obeyed the instructions given by us. The cooperation of students were so nice.

On the fifth day of this week, that is on August 26, there was exam for the eighth standard students and there was no exam for the nineth standard students. Nineth standard students were given throw ball practice. They have practice on this day. Some students visited us. They have a competition competition on the next day. Today there was two exams. So we have to be in school till Evening.

This was the last week of our school internship phase 2. I have learned a lot of things from the students,teachers and from the school. The attachment of students was really a missing moment for me. They gave a lot love and respect for me. From the school, i have learned how to tolerate many situations. How to handle many situations which are different from the normal situation. I thank to the school to be a part of my teaching practice life and also in my personal life.......!
