School internship phase 2

Weekend Report 5

From August 1 to August 5.

This week adds to another experience of my teaching Life.This week started from first August to Fifth August. This was the first week of this month. It was a rainy week too. The school conducted different programmes for the students as part of different days. As a part of teacher training we too need to participate in those programmes. It was a pleasant experience from those programmes. 

On the first day of this week, that is on August 1, I took a leave from the school because of medical illness. I was suffering from dizziness and fatigue throughout the day. So I decided to take rest in home.

On the second day of this week, that is on August 2, and the following day,that is on August 3, the ministry of government decided to give holiday for schools of different districts because of heavy rain in the state. The rain caused severe damages on various parts of the district. So the district collector decided to give leave for students for two days. Actually it was boring and time consuming as there was so many lessons plan are pending for students. Without students, it was really boring. The daily interaction with the students created a bond between us.

On the fourth day of this week, that is on August 4, there was class. I have to take chemistry class for nineth standard students and a substitution period for 8 standard students. I gave them more puzzles regarding science. Students were so active and they responded actively in the class. We are assigned to check the answer paper of the students from the unit test conducted last week. It was a tedious job and we together did that job easily. 

On the fifth day of this week, that is on August 5, i have class for nineth standard students and I too got a substitution period for 8 standard students. In the substitution period I gave them dictation regarding the subject. Afternoon there was two quiz programmes conducted by the teachers of the school. The first quiz was a part of math's club of the school. It was for high school students. 

We too involved in the quiz programme as it was difficult to manage students. Teacher's gave proper instructions regarding the quiz programme. We obeyed Teachers. The second quiz was a part of social science club and conducted by the teachers of the school for high school students in regarding the independence day celebration.

Students from high school participated in the quiz. It was conducted at the school auditorium. The winners we're selected for the district level competition. The school level winners are Adityan, Ameya, Gourinanda, Abhirami and kashyap.

The last period was physical education, and the mentor teacher asked us to control and guide the students who are playing on the ground, as she has to attend a meeting. As there was so many students, we together went to the ground to guide them. It was so thrilling to watch them playing in group. Several students used the equipments of the sports room. 

That was a nice experience. 

Overall this week gave another kind of experience in my teaching journey. We enjoyed different jobs assigned to us. It was really wordless.....
