Weekend Report 3
From July 18 to July 22


This week gave a warm experience for my teaching practice programme. A variety of experience reinforced our school internship programme. The support and cooperation of the colleagues was really wordless to say. 
     On the first day of this week, I got have only one period for 9 F students. On this day I won't got any substitution periods. The prayer of this school was really devotable to hear. Students of this school maintained well discipline during this time 
The school choir consist of four students who have amazing voice. All students and teachers turns silent during the prayer session. After the noon, there was a programme conducted by a blind old man for his medical treatment. Students collected some amount from their pocket money and gave to the old man. Teachers also contributed in giving money to him. He sung a number of songs for students.

On the second day of this week, I had two periods for nineth standard students and I had no substitution periods on this day. I clearly prepared the lesson plan for the class. I collected the learning resources for the class. On this day our optional teacher came and observed my class. It was unexpected and the students actively responded in the class. I could complete a class according to the lesson plan. Few suggestions were made by our teacher and i should take care about it in the future class. 
On the third day of this week, there was no class for the students. There was a strike conducted by KSU regarding the NEET Exam issues. Students arrived at the college, but after the prayer strike begun and teachers allowed students to go to home. As avteacher trainees we are not allowed to go. So we have to stay there till noon. We prepared the activity sheets and charts for the future class. 
On the fourth day of this week, there was a celebration on the school regarding the moon day. Students made different types of models denoting rockets and posters regarding the space programme. 
There was also a quiz programme for students regarding the moon day. Most of the students from the high school has participated in the quiz programme and the teachers invited us to guide students. We went to guide them and it gave a experience for conducting a programme on important days. 
The quiz programme was held in two sessions. First the quiz was given to all the students and a cut off was fixed and those who have selected in the first session was promoted to the second session. First , second and third prize winners were selected from the second session.
The importance of celebrating a science day and the way in which the day celebrated gave us a great lesson in understanding the role of a teacher in the future development of a student. 
On the fifth day of this week, the school  decided to conduct constitution quiz to high school students. All students participated in the quiz. Winners from the first session was selected to second session. Winners of the second session was selected and given first, second, third and fourth position. Kashyap fron tenth standard got first prize. 
On this day I got two periods and there was no substitution periods. There was also a counselling class for the nineth standard students regarding the adolescent issues and all the boys participated in the class. The class was led by a well experienced teacher from another school. The counselling lasted till the noon. 
This week was really good and gave a warm experience to me. The way in which a programme should be conducted in a class was easily taught by the teachers of the school. They too seeked our help in maintaining discipline of students while conducting the programme. It was a great opportunity for us ...The job of a teacher was different from all other career.....proud to be a teacher trainee....

School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 8 From August 22 to August 26 This was the last week of the school internship phase 2. It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot of things from the school. Firstly I would thank my college teachers for giving me such a school. GVHSS KULAKKADA gave a lot of experience in my teaching practice life. On the first day of this week, that is on August 22, there was class on the school. Teachers were busy in taking of the pending portions. We were Given duties for taking revisions for various classes. I have physics class to take and students were active. I too got substitution periods for the same class. Innovative work last sem

Innovative work I planned a drama for the chemistry class as my innovative work. The concept I selected for the drama was ' ionic bond ' from the chapter ' Chemical bonding '. I clearly prepared the script and as per the script I selected some students from the class 9 C for the characters of the script. The students coperated well. They thoroughly studied the script and sometimes they clarified their doubt. There were 6 characters for the drama. Everyone performed very well. Each has their own role to do. I prepared some aids for the drama performance. They used it properly and carefully. The other students of the class kept quiet during the entire drama programme. School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 7 From August 15 to August 20 This week gave another kind of experience in my teaching practice life. Learning new things from students and teachers from day to life serves a great lesson. From these days I learned how to improve my teaching skills effectively. I have learned how to use the teaching aids properly and all... On the first day of this week, that is on August 15, the school celebrates the 75 th independence day. There was variety of programs on the school.  The national tricolour flag was hosted by the head mistress of the school. The flag hosting was followed by independence rally. All the students participated in the rally. Students from various classes dressed in various styles and forms and performed beautifull in the rally.
