Weekend Report 2
July 11 to July 15, 2022


The second week of school internship phase 2 was started on 11 th July and ended on 15 th July. This week gave me a variety of experience. The support from the peer group was wordless. The coordination among the teacher trainees from various college helped to work together in the school.
The first day, that is July 11 was the national population day. GVHSS KULAKKADA decided to conduct a quiz programme for alla the high school students on this day. As part of the teacher training, we too are responsible to conduct such programme. So we decided to help the school teachers in conducting the quiz programme by controlling students in various classes. 
By conducting such a programme it enabled me to understand how to conduct a quiz programme On a class and how to manage students. Besides the importance of celebrating important national days. Students were active on the quiz programme. On this day I have one period for physics and one substitution period for chemistry. 

On the second day of this week, that is on July 12, I have two periods for physics and chemistry classes. I prepared the lesson plan from the topics of physics and chemistry chapters ofnineth standard text book. In addition to the two hours I hot two substitution periods for 8 A and 8 C students. I gave  maths logic questions and number plate questions for 8 A students as it was maths period for them. I gave chemistry puzzles and quizzes realted to elemts of periodic table for 8 C students. They enjoyed the substitution period so much. 
 
On the third day of this week, that is on July 13, I have only one period for physics for 9 B Students. I have prepared lesson plan from the chapter ' Equations of motions'. Position - time graph was the topic I selected to them. I also got two substitution periods for10 A and 10 C.  There was PTA meeting for the eighth and nineth standard students after the noon, so teachers was engaged in the PTA meeting. So they gave us substitution periods.As it wa senior students, teachers of the class said to give them questions related to their respective subjects. So I asked them chemistry and biology questions. Students were difficult to control and manage as the strength of students in each class was higher than 45. 

On the fourth day, that is on July 14, I have no periods to teach. But I got four substitution periods for the 9 B, 9C and 9 F students. I decided to give them more extended problems related to my topic. For the chemistry class I gave them more examples of ionic compound formation and for the physics class, I gave them more problems related to the drawing of position - time graph. Actually the lesson plan was too lengthy to complete and the substitution periods helped me to cover the topics. Also I got a chance to gave the students more Problems related to the topics.

On the last day of this week, that is on July 15 th I got two periods to teach. But there was no class after the noon. There was a meeting for the inauguration of science club of the school. 
I got two substitution periods. I took physics and chemistry classes for the students of nineth standard students. Teachers of incharge already invited us to join the meeting. As the whole students of the school was presented in the auditorium teachers required the help of us to control and monitor the students. We joined the meeting at 1.30 pm. Helped teachers to control the meeting and arranged Students to sit in proper places. The programme was so interesting that the chief guest Dr. B S shanthakumar sir ensured the participation of students in the meeting.

 The programme was inaugurated by the head mistress of the school shrimati Vasantha teacher. Teacher inaugurated the meeting by glowing a magnesium ribbon. It seemed the students attention. The magic show  based on the science topic was so interesting and gave students message related to the science related issues in the present scenario. Actually it gave a new experience for us, teaches us how to conduct a programme, how to manage such a huge number of students and all.. 

This week gave variety of experiences from various days.. Each days are teaching variety of topics in the life of a teacher. I need to understand one thing that, each student are different...and there is individual difference in a class..it was the responsibility of a teacher to treat all students without partiality.....

School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 8 From August 22 to August 26 This was the last week of the school internship phase 2. It was a great experience for me. I learnt a lot of things from the school. Firstly I would thank my college teachers for giving me such a school. GVHSS KULAKKADA gave a lot of experience in my teaching practice life. On the first day of this week, that is on August 22, there was class on the school. Teachers were busy in taking of the pending portions. We were Given duties for taking revisions for various classes. I have physics class to take and students were active. I too got substitution periods for the same class. Innovative work last sem

Innovative work I planned a drama for the chemistry class as my innovative work. The concept I selected for the drama was ' ionic bond ' from the chapter ' Chemical bonding '. I clearly prepared the script and as per the script I selected some students from the class 9 C for the characters of the script. The students coperated well. They thoroughly studied the script and sometimes they clarified their doubt. There were 6 characters for the drama. Everyone performed very well. Each has their own role to do. I prepared some aids for the drama performance. They used it properly and carefully. The other students of the class kept quiet during the entire drama programme. School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 7 From August 15 to August 20 This week gave another kind of experience in my teaching practice life. Learning new things from students and teachers from day to life serves a great lesson. From these days I learned how to improve my teaching skills effectively. I have learned how to use the teaching aids properly and all... On the first day of this week, that is on August 15, the school celebrates the 75 th independence day. There was variety of programs on the school.  The national tricolour flag was hosted by the head mistress of the school. The flag hosting was followed by independence rally. All the students participated in the rally. Students from various classes dressed in various styles and forms and performed beautifull in the rally.
