Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed in honour of the war heroes. Dubbed 'Operation Vijay', the campaign held on July 26, 1999, saw the Indian Army seizing back control of key outposts in Ladakh after ousting Pakistani troops from the region.India celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas on July 26 every year to mark the anniversary of the Indian Army's victory against Pakistan on this day in 1999, after more than 60 days of armed conflict on the highlands of Kargil in Ladakh. In what was perhaps the most recent example of high-altitude warfare in mountainous terrain, the Indian Army ousted the neighbouring nation's military forces and took back control of the high outposts in the region.

President Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit Drass on Monday to pay homage at the memorial, located on the foothills of Tololing. Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat will also participate at the Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, agencies added.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed in honour of Kargil's war heroes, the lives that were lost as a result of the war; soldiers who died in the line of duty serving their motherland. On this day every year, the Prime Minister pays his tributes to the armed forces at the 'eternal flame', Amar Jawan Jyoti, at India Gate in Delhi. Celebrations are also conducted in the Kargil sector and elsewhere across the country to commemorate the contributions of the Indian Army.

Dubbed 'Operation Vijay', the military campaign held in the month of July in 1999 saw the Indian Army troops clearing the Kargil sector of the infiltrators, which included both Pakistani soldiers and rebel forces. Defeating its adversaries in the war, the Indian Army finally hosted the national flag at Kargil on July 26. It is estimated that as many as 527 Indian soldiers died in the war, while more than 1,300 were injured.

Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021 arrives in the backdrop of the raging coronavirus disease (Covid-19) pandemic in India, for which the celebrations will be toned down this year, army officials told news agencies. A solemn ceremony was organised in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur to sound the bugle of celebrations of 22 years of victory of Kargil War, but all Covid-19 protocols were strictly followed during the entire event.

Innovative work last sem

Innovative work I planned a drama for the chemistry class as my innovative work. The concept I selected for the drama was ' ionic bond ' from the chapter ' Chemical bonding '. I clearly prepared the script and as per the script I selected some students from the class 9 C for the characters of the script. The students coperated well. They thoroughly studied the script and sometimes they clarified their doubt. There were 6 characters for the drama. Everyone performed very well. Each has their own role to do. I prepared some aids for the drama performance. They used it properly and carefully. The other students of the class kept quiet during the entire drama programme. School internship phase 2 Weekend Report 7 From August 15 to August 20 This week gave another kind of experience in my teaching practice life. Learning new things from students and teachers from day to life serves a great lesson. From these days I learned how to improve my teaching skills effectively.
