The constituent Assembly of India had announced Hindi as the official language of India on the 14th of September 1949. Therefore, if you need to know the importance of Hindi and to celebrate the Hindi Diwas or its Acknowledgement, you are required to keep reading this page.  You can celebrate Hindi Diwas on the 14th September every year. As we all know, Hindi is one of the two central government languages written in the Devanagari script, and the other language is English. In addition, it is one of the 22 languages of the Republic of India. All we know is that there are plenty of languages and dialects that are verbal in India. On the other hand, the constitution assembly has been approved the final draft of the constitution on 26th November 1949 and approached across the country from 26th January 1950. Apart from India, there are many other countries in which the Hindi language is spoken, such as Nepal, Madras, Trinidad, Suriname, Fiji, and Mauritius. After the independence, the Indian government set the objective to make the Hindi language the country’s mother tongue.  After that, Hindi divas are celebrated in each organization, school, and university each year.  Besides, on the 14th of September, there is also Rajendra Singh’s birthday, who worked effortlessly to make the Hindi language the official language of India. As part of Hindi Diwas, Hindi optional students had conducted a webinar on this day.
